Sealed lump sum bids are solicited for Contract No. 3 - Electrical Construction (EC) related to the 2024 Capital Bond Project, Phase 2, at Washington Irving Intermediate School. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of no less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, and the successful low bidder will be required to furnish specified insurance as well as payment and performance bonds for the full contract sum. Bidders are instructed to submit one original signed and sealed bid and two copies, using a sealed, opaque envelope labeled with the contract and bid details. Complete digital and hard copy sets of bidding documents, drawings, and specifications are available for purchase and download at designated websites and locations. Only documents obtained through the designated means will identify a bidder as an official plan holder. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informality or technical defects in the bids, request additional information, reject any or all bids, and re-advertise if necessary. Fax or electronic submissions are not accepted. Bidders assume responsibility for timely submission, including risks related to delivery methods or mail handling. All bid addenda will be distributed to registered plan holders by email and posted online. The Board may change submission deadlines if necessary due to unforeseen events, with delayed openings to be held on the next business day the office is open.
