Renovation of a municipal facility in Rosemount, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work includes general construction for the Rosemount Boiler Replacement project. Bids must be sealed and marked for the appropriate contract. All bids must include a corporate surety bond, cashier's check, or certified check equal to five percent of the base bid as a guaranty of the prompt execution of the contract. The contractor must provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract amount. Materials, products, and equipment described in the bidding documents are to be met by bidders. Written requests for approval of substitutions may be submitted at least ten calendar days prior to the bid date, including sufficient data to describe the substitution and any impact on other work. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty days after the opening without the consent of the owner. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the owner. Bidding documents, including addenda, are available for download at no cost from the Project Plan Room Website set up by CNH Architects. It is the bidder's responsibility to check for addenda before submitting a bid. Only sealed bids submitted in accordance with the bidding documents will be accepted; no oral or fax bids will be accepted. Bids received after the designated time will not be accepted.
