Sealed bids will be received for Water System Improvements at 116 West Main Street, Coyle, OK 73027. The work consists of Storage Tank Rehabilitation, bid as a lump sum. All construction work and materials provided must adhere strictly to the Contract Documents prepared by Cimarron Valley Engineering, LLC. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive, and responsible bidder. The Owner retains authority to correct minor clerical errors and to refuse any or all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Conditional bids will not be considered. Bidders must submit their original bid with a certified or cashier's check from a solvent Oklahoma bank, or a bidder's bond equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount, serving as a guarantee to fulfill the contract and enter into a written agreement. Successful bidders are required to provide necessary bonds in accordance with the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Each bidder must submit a sworn written statement affirming they have not engaged in any agreements with other bidders concerning bid prices, limitations, payments, or subcontracting. Construction, Maintenance, Payment, and Statutory Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, are mandatory and must be from a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner and Consulting Engineer. The Maintenance Bond will ensure repair of damage from faulty materials or workmanship for two years after acceptance of work by the Owner. The site will provide addenda, plan holder lists, reports, and all official notifications and bidding documents. The Owner and Engineer are not responsible for documents obtained from other sources. Printed copies may be purchased from the designated website for an additional fee. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Bids must remain valid for 30 days after opening, during which the Owner reserves the right to award or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and interpret ambiguous or unclear bid pricing in the Owner's best interest. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices are grounds for rejection.
