Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

This project includes the construction of twelve tennis courts within the Ben Geren Regional Park and the associated grading and drainage improvements, as specified in the Specifications and shown on the Construction Plans. Bids must be submitted in hard copy, sealed, and clearly labeled as instructed. Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of the sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened. All Bidder questions must be submitted through the QuestCDN project portal page. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date. Participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises is encouraged in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, as either a general contractor or subcontractor. The Work of this Contract is located at Ben Geren Park within Sebastian County Arkansas. B. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required and construct the Ben Geren Tennis Courts project in its entirety as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. C. The Work for Schedule I includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Performing site preparation, demolition, and site grading including undercut and backfilling, 2. Constructing drainage improvements and utility relocations, 3. Constructing post-tension concrete tennis courts, including fencing, appurtenances, acrylic surface, and markings, 4. Constructing pedestrian access sidewalks. D. The Contractor is advised that the Owner will provide or coordinate the following items: 1. The Owner will coordinate and pay directly for the installation of the lighting system and associated electrical improvements by others. No additional costs shall be included in the bid for lighting and electrical improvements.
