**As of May 26, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the AVNCOG and be accompanied by a bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid made payable to the Allegheny Valley North Council of Governments. Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July, 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The AVNCOG reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all proposals, for any reason whatsoever within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the AVNCOG may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the AVNCOG has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. SCOPE OF WORK Contract No. 26-R01 - CD50 ACME ADA Ramps includes the replacement of ADA curb ramps at the intersections of Grant Street and Herron Avenue, Grant Street and Elm Alley, and Grant Street and Jefferson Avenue. The project is being financed, in part, by the Community Block Development Group (CDBG). Contractor to comply with all applicable conditions set forth by grant programs. Refer to the Appendices for Grant Agreement. The Bidder is required to visit and carefully examine the site of the project and in particular all physical conditions including evidence of subsurface utilities, soils, pavements, facilities, operations and features which may affect the Contractor's work, as well as the Contract Documents and all other matters pertinent to the proposed work. If a prospective Bidder is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Drawings, Contract Documents or Technical Specifications, he/she/they may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof.
