Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the AVNCOG and be accompanied by a bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid made payable to the Allegheny Valley North Council of Governments. Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July, 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The AVNCOG reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all proposals, for any reason whatsoever within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the AVNCOG may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the AVNCOG has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. Contract No. 26-S01 - Sanitary Sewer Lining - Borough of Verona includes the complete manhole-to-manhole cured in-place lining of approximately 2,474 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer, manhole-to-manhole cured in-place lining of approximately 865 linear feet of 10" sanitary sewer, replacement of two flush tank manholes with standard 4' diameter precast manholes, approximately 4 tap-in break removals. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all General, Plumbing, and Electrical Construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.
