The project includes expansion of an existing storm water pond, site restoration, erosion control, traffic control, installation of RCP storm sewer, a precast storm manhole, and any other incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and specifications. The project also includes curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveway removal and replacement as needed due to field conditions or construction impacts. Sealed bids are required and must include the full name of every person or company interested in the bid and be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Kenosha. The form provided for "Bidder's Proof of Responsibility" must be completed and returned not less than five days before the bid opening. Bidders must comply with the requirements included in Section 5.001 of the Code of General Ordinances for the City of Kenosha regarding Protection In Public Bidding. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance as enumerated in the specifications. The City of Kenosha reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City of Kenosha.
