Remodeling of a municipal facility in New Carrollton, Maryland. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
The City of New Carrollton is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to replace the doors in the Municipal Multi-Purpose Room. The project aims to enhance the facility by improving security, accessibility, energy efficiency, and the overall aesthetic. Work Description The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work, including but not limited to the following: Carefully remove and dispose of existing doors, frames, and associated hardware without causing damage to adjacent walls, finishes, or structures. Dispose of all removed materials in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Provide and install new doors in accordance with the specifications below:Door Specifications: Size: 7 feet (84 inches) high 32 inches wide Quantity: Two (2) Type: Solid-core, commercial-grade doors suitable for use in a public facility Material: Hollow metal Finish: Painted or finished to match existing interior décor Hardware: Furnish and install new hinges, locks, handles, and door closers. All hardware shall be ADA-compliant and compatible with the Citys existing keying system. Frames: Provide and install new steel or aluminum door frames as required for proper installation
