Site work for a water / sewer project in La Verne, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work required to furnish and install Connector Pipe Screens (CPS) devices to city-owned catch basins in the City of La Verne. Actual quantities of work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer. The successful bidder (Contractor) shall complete all work under the contract within thirty working days from the Notice to Proceed. Bid must be submitted electronically for the exact item(s) requested in the bid specifications. Each proposal must conform and be responsive to all pertinent contract documents. Each bid must be made on the proposal form furnished by the City and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond payable to the City in a sum not less than ten percent of the total bid as a guarantee. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the contract price. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage rates and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Affirmative action is required to prevent discrimination in employment practices. Bids are to be submitted electronically, and hard copies will not be accepted.
