Renovation of an educational facility in Athens, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Clarke County School District is inviting bids for VCTT and LVT Flooring for the 400 Wing Classrooms at HB Stroud Elementary School. Sealed proposals will be received by the Clarke County School District in the SPLOST Office located at 145 Paradise Blvd., Athens, Georgia, 30607. The contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated per the school district's purchase order agreement. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive technicalities and informalities. Anticipated Award Date: April 17, 2026 Questions Regarding this RFQ Should be Directed to: Troy Bassett SPLOST Project Manager 706-546-7721 Ext. 77506 bassettt@clarke.k12.ga.us Deadline for written questions 5:00 PM April 8, 2026 The successful Bidder shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other parts and supplies necessary to accomplish the tasks listed below. _ Remove existing carpet, tile and wall base in 8 classrooms. There is approximately 5,800 sf of carpet, 300 sf of tile and wall base to be replaced. The owner will be responsible for removing classroom desks, chairs etc. _ Installation price to include new vinyl wall base, new carpet, floor prep etc. and any necessary transition pieces/thresholds. _ Contractor is responsible for disposing of old flooring and excess material from new installation. _ Contractor to provide submittals to owner for approval.
