Site work for a transportation facility in South Bend, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Work includes the rehabilitation of Runway 18-36 lighting, with new interleaving runway edge light circuits, conversion of edge lighting, guard lights and PAPIs to LED, new REILs, vault work, 5kV cable replacement, and all necessary incidentals to complete the work as specified in the contract drawings and documents. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials needed to complete the work at South Bend International Airport. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. All work is located at the South Bend International Airport, 4477 Progress Drive, South Bend, IN 46628. Bidders must obtain contract documents through the office of the Engineer to be considered a plan holder of record; bids not meeting this requirement are non-responsive. Bids must be properly executed and include required documents. No proposal may be withdrawn within 120 days after the bid date. The Owner reserves the right to retain bids for up to 120 days and to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. A bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. Federal and Indiana requirements for non-discrimination, wage rates, and bid forms apply. Each bid must be accompanied by the bidder's financial statement, statement of experience, proposed plans for performing the work, a list of available equipment, and a non-collusion affidavit, all in forms prescribed by the State Board of Accounts, including Bid Forms 96.
