Renovation of a parking garage in Fall River, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

The work consists of repairs to inverted T-beams, concrete wall repairs, floor repairs, and electrical reconfiguration caused by repairs to structural elements at the existing 3rd Street Parking Garage. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 44A-44J inclusive, as amended. Prospective General Bidders and Filed Sub-Bidders must submit with their Bid a certificate of eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM), showing that the Bidder has been approved to bid on projects of the size and nature as advertised. They must also submit an updated statement summarizing their record for the period between the latest DCAMM certificate and the date of the Bid submittal. The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the General Bidder shall be for the category of work defined as General Building Construction. The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the Filed Sub-Bidders shall be for the category of work for which they are submitting a Bid. Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically. Bidders will be added to the plan holders or prospective bidders list upon downloading the bidding documents. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds, in the full amount of the Contract price, will be required of the Successful Bidder. No Bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of the opening of Bids. The Successful Bidder shall comply with the Minority and Women (MBE/WBE) Workforce Participation goal of 13.0% for this contract. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 270, as amended, and Davis Bacon Federal Wage Rates apply to this project. VBE/SDVOBE 3%
