Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of the replacement of existing curbs, sidewalks, and associated work related to the construction of ADA compliant curb ramps. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable laws protecting individuals from discrimination. The project and contract are subject to requirements including payment of minimum salaries and wages, compliance with the Steel Products Procurement Act, and other federal and state law provisions as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The project is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. The City will determine the lowest responsible bidder based on the bids submitted, considering the quality of services, responsiveness, past performance, compatibility with City services, ability to handle the work volume, contractor integrity, public policy compliance, record of past performance, and financial and technical resources. The City reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder lacking satisfactory qualifications or to reject any or all bids, waive technical defects, and waive informalities for any reason.
