Scope of Work: SEE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Instructions to Bidders: None provided. The dewatering container shall be a 30 cubic yard dewatering unit suitable for wastewater biosolids applications. The unit shall be constructed of A36 steel plate, with all surfaces sandblasted to a commercial finish. The container shall measure approximately 23'-5"L x 8'- 6"W x 6'-5"H, weighing approximately 11,680 Ibs., and be rectangular in shape. It will be designed to unload with a standard cable and hook hoist truck. The interior shall be coated with epoxy mastic, and the exterior shall be two-part epoxy primed and polyurethane top coated. The container walls should be equipped with removable expanded metal filter panels on both sides and both sides of a center divider, with Poly 2000 or equivalent polyester filter media (600–800 micron openings) secured by stainless steel fasteners. Including, two 3-inch camlock drain connections, a 3-inch inlet connector, and two 3-inch clean-out ports. The container will have a side-hinged, liquid-tight rear door with EPDM gasket and ratchet closures shall be provided. Complete and ready for operation installation. If the purchase has been approved and the scope of work finalized, the vendor shall provide an estimated delivery timeframe for services.
