Install recreation equipment including a play structure, swings, benches, a basketball court with goals, chain link fencing, and landscaping at 237-239 Union Street in the City of Johnstown. One original and two copies of the written proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Union Street Playground Project." Only written and sealed proposals will be accepted; faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Any proposal received after the deadline will be returned unopened. A proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made payable to the order of Flood City Youth Fitness Academy in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount as a guarantee that, if accepted, the successful bidder will enter into a contract. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Unique Entity Identifier Number (UEI) upon contract execution. Davis Bacon wage rates and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions apply. Bidders must comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities. Flood City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, or to waive any informality in bidding, if it is determined to be in the best interest of Flood City Youth Fitness Academy.
