Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Tylersport, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed proposals are requested for work consisting of the following: 34,750 SY of Single Seal Coat as per PennDOT Pub 408, Section 470; 6,250 SY of Double Seal Coat as per PennDOT Pub 408, Section 480; and 70,000 SY of Type II Slurry Seal as per PennDOT Pub 408, Section 482. Salford Township reserves the option to extend the awarded contract for up to three years, in one-year increments upon mutual agreement. Bids must be for the total of all items. Liquidated damages apply at a rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality, and must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract value within 20 days of award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
