The City of Jamestown is taking bids for a sewer pump station at the wastewater treatment plant. The project includes furnishing and installing one wall mount 55 duplex control panel with 3 phase/480-volt Nema rated starters and overloads, float control system, and high well alarm light. It also includes supplying two Myers 4R Pumps rated for 220 GPM at 25 TDH, two lifting brackets, two 4-Myers bases, two Myers top rails, four stainless steel 1.5-inch guide rails, two 4-inch check valves, one stainless-steel float bracket, one 4-port Kwik Switch Float system (25-foot length), two 4-inch PVC x 4-inch polyethylene pipe adapters, six 4-inch flange packs with stainless steel bolts, 20 feet of stainless steel chain and clevises, and miscellaneous stainless steel metal for brackets and braces as needed. Scope of labor: Mechanically, all existing pumps, valves, and piping are to be removed, and all new items (and owner-furnished material) are to be installed in the existing pump station. Electrically, the control panel must be installed, pumps and controls wired, and old conduits and equipment removed as needed. Station start-up with the owner is required upon completion. All 4-inch HDPE pipe and fittings will be provided by the owner. The owner will be responsible for shutting off flow and cleaning out the station. All removed parts and materials are to be left with the owner. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities. Bids must be submitted to 112 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY 42629 by April 13th, 2026 at 12:00 noon.
