The City of Darien is seeking quotes for mowing and trimming properties with grass or weeds in excess of 8 inches. Work is to be completed within 48-72 hours upon notification and scheduled as required. Pricing is required for mowing and trimming grass and/or weeds from 8-12 inches down to a height of 2½ to 3 inches for the following property sizes: up to 10,000 square feet, 10,100 to 20,000 square feet, 20,100 to 40,000 square feet, and 40,100 to 65,000 square feet. There is also an hourly rate for landscape trimming of bushes and trees up to a height of 16 feet, with all trimmings to be disposed of by the vendor. The proposed rates must include travel, equipment, and labor costs. The quoted pricing is effective from May 1, 2026 through October 31, 2026. Bidders are required to submit completed forms with rates for each category and the total cost for all services.
