Advance notice to contractors and consultants of upcoming contract opportunities at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Halifax, NS for Real Property Operations Group (RP OPS) and Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) base program, including projects with and without security requirements. Contractors and consultants are invited to assess their capacity and interest, and to initiate preparations for potential solicitations, including applying for necessary security clearances if required. Projects will be subject to separate tendering or request for proposals processes through various procurement mechanisms, such as open competitive tenders, Open Construction Source Lists (OCSL), Quick Response Tender (QRT) source lists, and Standing Offer Agreements. Interested parties should download documentation from MERX for a list of anticipated projects and apply for applicable source lists using a MERX account. Contractors and consultants intending to bid on projects requiring security clearance should begin the application process through Defence Construction Canada's Industrial Security Program. All applicants are responsible for their own costs and assume all risks associated with the application and security clearance process.
