Reference Number 0000417285 The Utilities Department has identified long-standing ponding and stormwater inundation at the intersection of Adams Street and E. Colfax Avenue following storm events. This project will include the installation of a new storm sewer line in northern Bennett along Adams Street, extending from Kiowa Avenue to E. Colfax Avenue. The proposed improvements will increase system capacity, reduce localized flooding and overflows, and support planned development within the area. Additionally, the Utilities Department has identified an opportunity to extend and connect the existing stubbed water line on Kiowa Avenue to the water line along E. Colfax Avenue. This improvement will create a looped water system, enhance system redundancy for pressure and flow, reduce water stagnation, and improve overall water quality.
