Adams County Public Works Department is requesting proposals for Professional Engineering Services for the Design Phase of Victory Road-Roadway Curve Realignment (the “Project”). Old Victory Road is in the rural part of Adams County. The project limits are from Colfax Ave (036D MP 92.184) to a point approximately 0.4 miles north on Old Victory Road. Crash data safety performance function analysis indicates that this stretch of roadway is LOSS IV for total and severe crashes. Vehicles overturning into steep ditches on both sides of the roadway likely due to the presence of tight horizontal curves. This 0.4 mile stretch of roadway contains no to minimal paved shoulders.
