Sealed proposals are requested for all labor, materials, use of contractor's equipment, plant and all else necessary to construct the improvements generally designated as North Streams Park Improvements. The base project includes mobilization, clearing and grubbing, topsoil handling, grading, silt fencing, construction entrance, concrete washout, seeding and matting, installation of playground equipment for various age groups, swings, climbing wall, twister, zipline, earthwork, concrete curb, pavement bases, sand surfacing, granular fill, resilient surfacing, underdrain piping, headwall, geotextile fabric, benches, trash receptacles, parking lot and right-of-way pavement, pavement markings, and ADA compliant parking stalls. Alternate and additional work includes seeding, benches, trash receptacles, pavement, pickleball court construction with associated fencing, storm sewer, flared end section, and dog park gates and equipment. All work must follow the provided drawings and specifications. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the specified amount as evidence of good faith and may not be withdrawn for thirty days after the bid opening. Only bids from those listed on the approved plan holders list will be accepted. The right is reserved to waive formalities and reject any or all bids. The Engineer's estimate of the construction of the Base Project or other effectuation of all such improvements is $875,000.00.
