Installing a new sewer diversion chamber, replacing the existing Muffin Monster macerator, and upgrading the sewer screening equipment to improve system reliability and flow management. The project also includes all associated building and equipment improvements, including electrical system updates, ventilation modifications, and any ancillary work required to integrate the new equipment, along with associated sewer line cleaning, exterior concrete replacement, and minor project restoration. All bid responses require proof of State Project Registration from the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity. Bid responses and attachments must be uploaded to SIGMA VSS, with a maximum of two attachments permitted (one for bid documents and, if applicable, one for Qualified Disabled Veteran information). Bidders should not wait until just before the 2:00 p.m. deadline to submit responses, as late submissions will not be accepted, even if partially uploaded. For submission issues, contact the SIGMA Help Desk before the deadline, and issues with SIGMA VSS should also be reported to the Design and Construction Contract Specialists with a SIGMA ticket number and supporting documentation. Email submissions may be allowed on a case-by-case basis with DCD approval but must be received before the deadline to be considered. 5% bid security is required.
