Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Charlestown Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the Esworthy Road Bridge Replacement Project PID 118361, in Charlestown Township, Portage County. Bidders are required to submit only one proposal via electronic or paper submission. Specifications and bidding forms are available through the designated web service or at the engineer's office. Each bidder must furnish a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond and evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Only ODOT Prequalified contractors are eligible to submit bids. Contractor compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements is required. Bidders must comply with Federal (Davis Bacon) wage rates. All steel products must meet ODOT requirements. The basis of award is the lowest and best bid. Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation goals have been set for this project. SBE goal: 10%. Waiver process for SBE goals is referenced in the attachments. The owner requires completion of the project by the specified date. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Pre-qualification requirements: Only ODOT Prequalified contractors are eligible to submit bids. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. Each bidder must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity.
