Unit cost pricing for asphalt and concrete installation/repairs. This is an on-call, as-needed contract. Bidders will provide unit pricing and Grand Total costs based on specific project scenarios defined in the bid documents. Bidders must be registered on the district’s informal bidding list via PQBids.com. A valid and active Class A and C-12 license is required at the time of bid and for the duration of the contract. Bids must be submitted electronically at PQBids.com and presented only on district-furnished forms, including the scenario-based bid form. All Requests for Information (RFIs) must be submitted via PQBids. Attendance at the entire mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk is required; bid documents are available only to those who attend. Each bid must be accompanied by security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Grand Total. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each at 100% of the contract amount. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all prevailing wage requirements and be registered with the DIR. No bidder may withdraw any bid for ninety calendar days after the bid opening. Any request for substitutions must be made at the time of bid. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities.
