Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Ontario, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed prime bids are invited for the Arroyo Elementary School - Playground Replacement Project. All bids must be submitted on the provided forms via Bonfire. Bidders are required to possess a B License at the time contracts are awarded and must perform a majority of the work if classified as a specialty contractor. The project duration is 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice of Award, with liquidated damages imposed for any delays beyond this period. If additive/deductive bid alternates are included, all bidders must price these, but the lowest bid will be determined based on the base contract amount only. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidders security equal to at least 10% of the maximum bid amount. Successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates, and any other required documents. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage laws, maintain proper licensing, and furnish certified payroll records. Bids must strictly conform to all contract documents, and the district reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive irregularities. Bidders must also comply with requirements for listing subcontractors, substitution requests, and the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Programs. It is the responsibility of each bidder to ensure bids are timely uploaded and received. Questions Due Date: Apr 14th 2026, 2:30 PM PDT All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to the District. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the District in response to those questions will be issued in writing by Addenda faxed, mailed, or delivered to all parties recorded by the District as having received the Contract Documents.
