Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Little River, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
Furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the construction of a new bridge over the Little River, removal and salvaging of the existing bridge, road and utility realignment, habitat and slope restoration, and removal of existing walls and abutments at Van Damme State Park in Mendocino County, California, complete and in accordance with the plans and specifications and any addenda issued prior to the bid opening date. The bidder agrees to complete all work within one hundred sixty (160) calendar days from the date of written notice to commence work. License required: A or B. Successful bidder shall provide Payment Bond and Performance Bond. Attendance at the job showing is mandatory and will be the only opportunity for prospective bidders to view the site with park personnel. Prospective bidders may obtain the bid package by downloading it from the Department of General Services' website. Any questions or discrepancies in the contract documents must be submitted by email no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening date. Answers will be provided by Addendum in the Bid Solicitation. The DVBE Participation Requirement for this solicitation is 6% Question Deadline 04/30/2026 at 2:00 PM PT Questions must be submitted to Merrilee.Byrnes@parks.ca.gov.
