The scope includes construction of approximately 2.1 miles of new roadway, intersection improvements at S.R. 19 and S.R. 33, and incorporation of a segment of the South Lake Trail as part of the Coast-to-Coast Trail. The realignment is intended to enhance safety, livability, and walkability within the downtown area, with existing one-way pairs planned to transition to city roadways. Right-of-way acquisition is currently underway as the project advances through the design phase.
