Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Hinckley, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work involves the supply and installation of a black coated chain link fence around the perimeter of the yard at 2654 Wiigob Bend, Hinckley. This includes furnishing all materials and labor for approximately 340 linear feet of 6-foot-high fence and a 6-foot-wide gate, following the specified layout and maintaining a 52-foot setback from the curb. The contractor is responsible for removing any small trees, brush, branches, and shrubs necessary for installation, as well as any digging or land alterations required. All installations must comply with referenced ASTM standards, industry codes, and the International Residential Code as well as the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe 2025 MLB Project Specification Book. The contractor is responsible for field measuring, regrading, seeding any damaged areas, securing permits, and all required inspections, including a City of Hinckley fence permit. All proposals must be submitted as a lump sum (supply and install) not to exceed the stated amount, and must comply with Davis Bacon wage requirements, Mille Lacs Band licensing, and American Indian Employment requirements. Required documentation includes a completed bid form, vendor's license or application, insurance certificate, subcontractor list, Minnesota contractor's license, and authorized signature sheet. All proposals must be mailed and labeled according to the provided address instructions. The Band reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will give preference to Indian organizations and Indian-owned enterprises whenever feasible. Fence shall start at the front left corner of the house and run approx. 28' straight across towards Zhingob Ave.; then run south and perpendicular to the house 63'; then turn right and follow the rear maintained yard area measuring approximately 131' total in length; then turn and run 62' straight back towards Wiigob Bend and perpendicular to the house; then turning back left and running 38' straight back to the front right corner of the garage. Install a 6' wide gate centered on the right side of the garage. Fence must maintain a 52' setback from the edge of curb at all points along the Wiigob Bend and Zhingob Ave. facing sides. A rough layout of the proposed fence has been provided for reference.
