The project consists of the removal and disposal of one 4,000-gallon single wall fiberglass reinforced concrete underground fuel oil tank in front of the airport terminal building, including the installation of a temporary 2,000-gallon rectangular aboveground fuel oil tank with connections to the terminal building's existing boiler system. The project also includes the removal, disposal, and replacement of a 1,000-gallon oil/water separator at the airport's maintenance facility. The contract time for completion of all work is within one hundred calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required for bidders. It is strongly recommended that bidders attend the site visit to familiarize themselves with the scope of work and site restrictions. No claims for extra costs will be allowed due to lack of knowledge of verifiable conditions. Attendees arriving more than ten minutes late may be considered as not having attended the conference.
