Renovation of a municipal facility in Groton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 32,900-square-foot municipal facility.
This project is for engineering and architectural services for the full replacement of the City of Groton Municipal building roof. The existing flat roofs are currently failing. Due to the condition of the roof, the timeline for completion of this design work and bid documents is of the essence. The scope of the roof replacement project will be to remove the old roofing down to the structural decking and replace it with a new flat roof system. The City anticipates the roof replacement to take place in the Fall of 2026. Questions and comments will now be accepted until 4:00 PM on 5/12/2026. The project is a full replacement of the City of Groton Municipal building roof, approximately 32,900 sq. ft., located at 295 Meridian Street, Groton, CT 06340.
