All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to South Abington Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $875 per day for each day beyond this date that the work remains incomplete. The South Abington Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
