Site work for a development in Corte Madera, California. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
This contract is for furnishing labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of large woody debris, rock structures, and gravel augmentation in Lagunitas Creek. The work is located in Marin Watershed Lands and Samuel P. Taylor State Park between the Leo T. Cronin Fish Viewing Area and the Irving Group Picnic Area within Marin County, California. The contractor is required to possess a valid Class A Contractor's license in the State of California at the time of contract award. Bidders must submit a certified check, cash, cashier's check, or bid bond not less than ten percent of the bid amount payable to the Marin Municipal Water District as a guarantee to execute a satisfactory contract and furnish required bonds. All bid documents must be completed on forms supplied with the contract specifications and the entire specification booklet should be returned. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and comply with applicable prevailing wage requirements. Proposals will be considered for the complete job only. Additional instructions include requirements around insurance, retentions, and bid submission procedures. Bidders should ensure their insurance meets all contract requirements and provide completed insurance endorsement forms as specified. The District may disqualify contractors for failure to comply with contract or District code requirements. Any explanation desired by Bidders regarding the meaning or interpretation of any of the contract documents shall be submitted to the District no later than April 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
