Remove and replace main sewer drain lines at the required slope running under the building's concrete slab including all cleanouts, floor drains, and secondary lines coming from urinals, men's and women's' toilet fixtures, kitchen, and any other lines that tie into the main drain line. B. Contractor shall remove and replace men's and women's shower inserts with like for like shower inserts, if necessary. C. Saw cut and excavate inside the building to expose lines for replacement including cutting and removing sections of slab. D. All excavated areas shall be backfilled, compacted, and finished with concrete to original grade. E. Contractor shall use plastic to cover work areas. F. All dirt shall be contained and covered in rooms where excavation is occurring. G. Check pipe grade to verify conformity with California plumbing code requirements. If grading does not comply with the California plumbing code, Contractor shall regrade as necessary to ensure all new installed pipe meets the required slope allowing wastewater to drain by gravity toward the main sewer. H. If grade cannot be achieved to allow flow through the lateral line to the city, Contractor shall install a sewage ejector/grinder pump including all necessary electrical installation as per local electrical code to lift and push wastewater outside of building. Sewer ejector pump installation location to be verified by the Facilities Coordinator prior to placement. I. Any open trenches shall be covered with suitable material to withstand standing on. J. Contractor shall provide one (1) men's two station VIP restroom with sink plus urinals, one (1) women's 2 station VIP restroom with sink, and one (1) VIP ADA restroom with sink for the length of the project. K. Field verify all measurements encompassed in this project and accept sole responsibility for measurement accuracy. L. Contractor shall repair any damage caused by the Contractor or any of its workers at no expense to the State of California. M. Keep the work site clean and dispose of all debris away from CHP property throughout the entirety of project. N. Maintain a safe working environment to prevent injuries to CHP personnel or damage to CHP property throughout the entirety of project. O. Warranty all parts and workmanship for a period of no less than one (1) year.
