Renovation of an educational facility in Greenwood, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
All work for the complete construction of the CGHS Renovations Package 1 will be bid under separate prime contract bids as follows: 1. Bid Package #1 - General Trades, 2. Bid Package #2 - Mechanical, Plumbing & Fire Protection, 3. Bid Package #3 - Electrical. Bids shall be based on a "stipulated sum" basis in full accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by CSO Architects. Bids shall be executed on State Form 96 and Supplementary Proposal Form included in the Project Manual, accompanied by AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualification statement, Contractor's Financial Statement specific enough and in such detail so that the Owner can make a proper determination of the Bidder's capability for completing the project if awarded, bid security in the penal amount of 5% of the total bid price in a form acceptable to the Owner, and the Contract Responsibility Certification. Prior to execution of the Contract, the successful Bidder shall furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum, to remain in full force and effect for 12 months from date of acceptance of the work. Bidders shall state completion time with their bid and commence work within 48 hours after signing contract or receiving a notice to proceed. Substantial Completion is required by July 30, 2026, and Final Completion by September 30, 2026. Contractors shall meet with the Owner, Construction Manager and Architect at 10:00 a.m. on April 14, 2026, in the White River Township Trustees Office - located at 2929 S. Morgantown Rd Greenwood, IN 46143 for a Pre-Bid Conference.
