Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Avon Lake, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
Provide all tools, material, equipment, and labor for demolition of existing structures at the water filtration plant, including all required permits, demolition, hauling of all debris, asbestos and lead mitigation, and complete site restoration. All work shall be in accordance with the specifications located in the bid package. All bids shall be firm and shall contain the full name of each person or company interested in the bid. Bidders must use the proposal form included for the solicitation on Bid Express when submitting their bids. A bid bond payable to the City of Avon Lake, Ohio in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid less alternates, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54 as a guarantee, shall accompany the bid. The bid bonds of unsuccessful bidders will be returned promptly on the award of a contract to the successful bidder. The successful bidder must provide the required certifications, affidavits, liability insurance, and performance bond, and must comply with all relevant sections of the Ohio Revised Code, prevailing wage requirements, and the Civil Rights Act. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit is required in order to be eligible for award. All questions shall be directed to Avon Lake Regional Water, Engineering Services Manager (Engineer).
