All bids shall be submitted electronically. No physical bids will be accepted. Successfully submitted bids will be opened and read at the stated time and date for the 2026 Annual Water Distribution Supplies Bid for the contract period of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. Bids must be firm and include the full name of each person or company interested in the bid. Bidders must use the proposal form provided electronically. A bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid must accompany the bid as a guarantee. The successful bidder must provide certification from the State of Ohio Industrial Commission and Bureau of Worker's Compensation, liability insurance holding the City and Board of Municipal Utilities harmless, an affidavit regarding payment of all indebtedness for materials and labor, an affidavit of compliance with non-collusion and political contribution laws, and a notarized statement about delinquent personal property taxes. The successful bidder must comply with the Civil Rights Act, provide a performance bond equal to the contract price, and pay prevailing wage rates established by the State of Ohio. The Board of Municipal Utilities reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality at its discretion.
