Site work and paving for a road / highway in Folsom, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Award is subject to final approval. Online sealed bids for the 2026 Road Resurfacing Project will be received by Ridley Township via the PennBid Program. Major items include 3,270 tons of overlay, 31,650 SY of milling, and 1,545 SY of base and trench repair. All bid documents, construction plans, and specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value, with a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each total bid, made payable to the Township, must accompany each bid. Bidders must comply with the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification Form, various insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with the Township of Ridley Ordinance No. 2048 - Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification and, if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontractor Responsibility Certification with the bid. The Township of Ridley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in the bidding as they deem in the interest of the Township.
