Renovation of a fire / police facility in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Work will include replacement of the existing ballasted EPDM roofing systems and installation of a new built-up roofing systems, replacement of the roofing insulation, and replacement of the prefinished sheet metal flashing at the Police Station building. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission shall comply with the provisions of Minnesota Statute 16C.285 Responsible Contractor. Bids must be sealed and addressed to the City Clerk, City of Brooklyn Center, 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, 55430, and endorsed with the name and address of the Bidder and Contract for which the Bid is being submitted. No Bid will be considered which is not accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the City of Brooklyn Center in an amount of not less than five percent of the Bid amount. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of the Contract. The City of Brooklyn Center reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interest of the Owner. Bidders shall bring any inadequacies, omissions, or conflicts to the City Engineer's attention at least seven (7) days before the due date for Bids.
