This City of Westfield Project involves the reconstruction of Park Street between Poplar and Mill Streets into a plaza street and development of a public plaza space. The goal of this project is to revitalize the downtown area in and around the new Park & Poplar mixed-use project. The upgraded street will act as a multi-use urban environment for vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists that strengthens the link between the Grand Junction Park and the Library, enhancing the connectivity between Westfield's cultural destinations and mixed-use developments. These improvements will enhance this street as a distinctive experience and vibrant place, creating a key amenity and economic development driver for the city. This project will include street and sidewalk pavements, underground utilities, grading, lighting, audio system, masonry piers, steel gates, stairs and railings, site furnishings, limestone blocks and boulders, landscaping, and irrigation systems.
