Remodeling of an educational facility in Coal City, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are requested for a Walk-In Freezer/Cooler for Independence Middle School. Documents must be received by the specified deadline, and service providers must comply with all requirements and conditions outlined in the document package. Bid documents can be obtained from the Raleigh County Board of Education Purchasing Department or downloaded from their website. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for all service providers; failure to attend will result in disqualification of the proposal. Proposals may not be withdrawn for sixty days after the deadline. The Raleigh County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY 1. Remove existing walk-in freezer, cooler panels, refrigeration units, and other old units. Coordinate with the Raleigh Maintenance Director regarding roof units that may be salvaged for future use. 2. Deliver, uncrate, and furnish all materials, equipment, and labor to erect new walk-in freezer and cooler panels as per specifications - install piping, gas charge, start-up, and checkout of all systems after all final connections are made. 3. Install condensate drain lines from evaporator coils to the existing floor drain. 4. Make final electrical connections to existing utilities. 5. Install and set up all walk-in storage shelves. 6. Set condensing units in the area designated by the Owner. 7. Provide for the recovery and disposal of refrigerant. 8. Install evaporator coils. 9. Coordinate with the Owner on opening and closing of the building during installation. 10. Dispose of the old walk-in freezer, cooler, and other equipment. 11. Ensure the evaporator condensate drain is copper tubing with insulated heat tape in the freezer unit. 12. Ensure all lines are copper and joints brazed - no quick disconnects. 13. Seal all penetrations to prevent air leaks. 14. Seal the seams of the box outside to prevent leakage. 15. Silicone all interior seams before starting up the refrigeration unit. 16. Coordinate with the Raleigh County Maintenance Director regarding the locations of electrical breaker box panels and the number of needed circuits. 17. Install all wiring and conduits from the breaker box panel to the indoor and outdoor units. An electrical receptacle will need to be installed near or around the outside unit. Disconnects are to be installed near the outdoor units. Coordinate with the Raleigh County Maintenance Director regarding the electrical and plumbing requirements for a complete freezer, cooler, and oven installation. 18. Make and confirm all field measurements
