Florence 1 Schools is seeking qualified contractors to provide small construction, repair, and general trades services on an as-needed basis at multiple school and district facilities. Services shall include, but are not limited to: demolition and cleanup; carpentry (walls, doors, windows, cabinetry, framing, trim); sheetrock/drywall installation and repair; masonry (brick, block, and concrete work); electrical work (licensed required); plumbing work (licensed required); ceiling tile and ceiling system installation and repair; roofing (minor repairs and patching); general facility repairs and small renovation projects. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to perform the work. Offers will be received from qualified, properly licensed vendors. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the instructions outlined and received before the designated deadline. The District reserves the right to deem the awarded bid/contract null and void at any time should the vendor become unable to comply with bid requirements.
