Sealed proposals are requested for the purchase of a new 350KW Diesel Powered Portable Generator Set (Project # 2026-001) for use at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. All proposals must comply with the specifications on file with the Director of Public Service and Safety. Electronic bidding will be managed through the Bid Express service, and bidders must register and review each solicitation before bidding. Contractors and Subcontractors must, as much as practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates for Miami County and the City of Troy, Ohio. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty: either a bid bond for 100% of the bid amount payable to the City of Troy, or a certified check, cashier's check, Official Bank Check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid amount payable to the City of Troy. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and select the best bid in its opinion.
