The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario invites qualified contractors to submit quotations for the RTU Replacement & BAS Upgrade Project at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, 74 Church Street, Brockville, Ontario. The work includes the removal of the existing Trane Rooftop Unit (RTU), which is currently at end-of-life, and the supply and installation of a replacement Trane RTU. The project also includes revisions to the existing BAS (Building Automation System) sequences to incorporate demand-controlled ventilation (DCV). The contractor must perform all required demolition of existing infrastructure and provide new infrastructure as outlined in the mechanical and electrical discipline design drawings. The successful bidder is responsible for carrying the costs associated with structural review, engineering, and reinforcement of the existing roof structure and equipment curb(s), including sealing and flashing of existing penetrations as noted on the mechanical design drawings. Attendance at the mandatory site meeting is required for bid eligibility; subcontractors are not required to attend and their attendance will not count toward bidder compliance.
