Restroom Renovations for Full Day Kindergartens at Various Schools. The work consists of restroom renovations for full day kindergartens at multiple schools. Bidders must use and complete all bid forms and comply with all requirements in the instructions and specifications. Bids must be marked in a sealed envelope with the project name and delivered to the Hillsborough Township Board of Education. No bids will be received by facsimile or electronic transmission. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. All bidders and subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and provide appropriate certificates. Bidders and their subcontractors must also provide a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate prior to contract award. Bidders must comply with the Law Against Discrimination and Affirmative Action requirements. In order to be eligible to submit a bid, bidders or their subcontractors must be classified by NJDPMC as C008 General Construction or C009 General Construction - Alterations & Additions. No bidder on the State Treasurer's or Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders is eligible to bid. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding process if it is in its best interest.
