Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Sheldon, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
Work generally consists of removal and replacement of storm sewer culverts for Division I and II, including but not limited to grading, excavation, subgrade preparation and modified subbase, storm sewer culverts, 6" P.C. concrete sidewalk, 7" and 8" P.C. concrete pavement, pavement removals, water main adjustment, temporary traffic control, and erosion control items. Bidding requirements specify Division I as the culvert located approximately 25 feet west of the intersection of Wyman St. and 5th Ave., and Division II as the culvert located approximately 80 feet east of the intersection of Iselin Ave. and 16th St. Instructions to bidders include that an optional paper set of proposal forms and specifications may be obtained from the office of the engineer for a refundable deposit if returned in good condition within 14 days after award of the project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Custom Bid Result.
