The project involves the installation of approximately 9,000 linear feet of new water main. Services required include the preparation of a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) and additional design, bid, and management services if federal or state funding is awarded. Responding firms must be technically qualified, licensed to provide design and engineering services relevant to the scope of work, and experienced in preparing plans for infrastructure projects. The statement of qualifications must include the firm’s history and resources, ARC and other DCA grant program experience, key personnel and qualifications, current workload, proposed scope and level of service, experience with similar projects and references, fees and/or percentages for the PER and other services if funded, and Errors and Omissions Insurance. All submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter stating the name and role of the primary consultant and any sub-consultants, signed by authorized officers of the firms. Submittals must include one hard copy and one digital copy and late, facsimile, or emailed submissions will not be accepted. All contracts are subject to applicable federal and state contract provisions and relevant laws. Section 3 businesses are encouraged to apply.
