Sealed proposals will be received electronically for the Wheatland Woods Park - Sports Courts and Related Improvements Project. The project includes, but is not limited to, the removal of trees and brush; construction of pickleball and basketball courts, including associated grading, subbase, paving, and acrylic surfacing application; procurement and installation of equipment and outer PVC-coated chain link fencing; construction and associated grading of a paved 6"-wide ADA path to the sports courts from an existing parking lot; overlay of an existing 10'-wide stone walking path; tree planting; and all other associated work as more fully described in the Construction Drawings. The bidding process, contract, and conduct of the work must meet the requirements of a Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program Grant Contract, obligating compliance with specific program requirements. Prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bank cashier's check or bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Jackson Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
