Bids will only be accepted electronically via DemandStar. Bids must be submitted through DemandStar no later than 2:00 PM (local time) on May 5, 2026. Any bids received after this deadline will not be considered. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to ensure their Bid is successfully submitted to DemandStar by the designated time. All bids shall be publicly opened, read aloud and recorded at or after 2:00 p.m. in the County's Capital Project's conference room located at 205 Hanchey Road, Wauchula, Florida 33873 on the same date and will also be available online via a TEAMS meeting. A submittal by facsimile or electronic mail (email) will not be accepted. Any response received after May 5, 2026 @ 2:00 p.m. local time on said date shall not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time an ITB response is received will be resolved against the Bidder. The County reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive any or all non-material irregularities and technicalities to re-advertise for ITBs, with or without changes in the scope of work, to award in whole or in part to one or more Bidders or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interest of County. All questions must be received no later than April 17, 2026, @ 3:00 p.m. Any questions or requests for clarifications concerning this ITB shall be submitted in writing by facsimile or E-mail and directed to Niklaus C. No questions will be received verbally, and/or, after the deadline. There are no plans. The materials will be installed at the bridge locations with the quantities specified on the bid form. The Engineer and County will meet with the contractor onsite prior to construction to discuss the desired limits of material placement, however, the material quantities will dictate the final limits and characteristics of the work.
