The work involves ADA Bathroom Upgrade II and Associated Asbestos Abatement at Queens College, 65-30 Kissena Boulevard, Flushing, New York, NY 11367. Bids are open only to Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprises, with specific certification and qualification requirements as outlined in the NYS Economic Development Law and Empire State Development guidelines. Bidders must ensure their bids are properly identified and submitted to DASNY at 515 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207, following all instructions regarding bid packaging and delivery. Only bids received by the deadline and meeting all criteria will be considered. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting. Strict communication protocols are in place, restricting contact to designated solicitation staff only. Question Deadline 04/27/2026 Prospective bidders shall examine the Contract Documents carefully and, before bidding, shall make a written request to Owner and Design Professional, for an interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error therein which should be discovered by a reasonably prudent bidder. The work described in this section for each contract shall be complete systems and assemblies, including products, components, accessories, and installation required by the respective contract documents. Trenches and other excavation for the work of each contract shall be the work of such contract. Blocking, backing panels, sleeves, and metal fabrication supports for the work of each contract shall be the work of such Contract. Furnishing of access panels for the work of each contract shall be the work of such Contract. Installation of access panels located in the substrate of ceilings, walls and floors shall be the work of the construction contract. Equipment pads for the work of each contract shall be the work of such contract. 7. Roof-mounted equipment curbs for the work of each contract shall be the work of the construction contract. Painting for the work of each contract shall be the work of such contract. Cutting and Patching: Each contract shall perform its own cutting and patching. 9. Firestopping for the work of each contract shall be provided by such contract.
